The Plant Happiness Promise
At Moontime Plants, we believe plants help turn spaces into homes. That's why every plant is thoughtfully selected, lovingly cared for, and carefully packaged to arrive happy, healthy, and ready to settle into its new home.
Because plants are living things, they do require proper light, water, and care to thrive. But if your new plant arrives unhappy or experiences issues within 30 days despite receiving appropriate care, we'll make it right with a replacement or store credit.
Every order is backed by our Plant Happiness Promise because bringing home a new plant should feel joyful, not stressful.
What's Covered
We guarantee your plant will arrive healthy and as described.
If your plant:
- Arrives damaged during transit
- Arrives unhealthy or significantly stressed
- Fails to recover or thrive within 30 days despite proper care
we'll work with you to find the best solution, whether that's a replacement plant or store credit.
How to Submit a Claim
If something doesn't look right, we're here to help.
Simply email us within 30 days of delivery and include:
- Your order number
- A brief description of the issue
- Clear photos of the plant
- Photos of the shipping box if damage occurred during transit

We aim to review all claims within 48 business hours.
What Isn't Covered
While we always want your plants to thrive, there are a few situations that fall outside of our guarantee.
The Plant Happiness Promise does not cover:
- Damage caused by overwatering, underwatering, improper light, neglect, or failure to follow basic plant care instructions
- Damage that occurs after 30 days from delivery
- Damage caused by pets, children, accidents, repotting, or environmental conditions within the home
- Orders delayed or damaged due to incorrect shipping information provided at checkout
- Cold-weather damage when a recommended heat pack is not purchased
- Minor cosmetic imperfections such as small leaf blemishes, natural variations in color, shape, or size, or minor leaf loss during shipping
Because every plant is unique, slight variations are a natural part of bringing home a living plant.
Returns & Refunds
Due to the perishable nature of live plants, we are unable to accept returns.
When a claim is approved, our preferred solution is a replacement plant or store credit. Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
