Collection: Low Light

Not every home has a sunny south-facing window, and that's okay. Some of my favorite plants are in the darker corners of my house: the hallway, the bathroom, the bedroom across from the window. A plant doesn't need full sun to do well. It just needs to be the right plant.

I picked the plants in this collection because they're happy with less light. Snake Plants, ZZs, Pothos, Heartleaf Philodendrons and Parlor Palms all grow well in lower light and don't mind a few missed waterings. One honest tip: low light isn't the same as no light. If you can comfortably read a book in that spot during the day, these plants can live there. In dimmer light they also drink less, so let the soil dry out more between waterings.

Whether it's a north-facing apartment, an office with blinds that stay closed, or a corner that just needs some life, there's a plant here for it. Find your corner, and we'll help you keep it green.
